Food and Beverage

Food and Beverage Team Member

We have a fantastic opportunity for talented individuals with both part time and full time vacancies being available, working throughout the department including Bar, Restaurant, Conference & Events and Room Service.

THE ROLE

  • Provide efficient, prompt, trouble free, and courteous service to all of our guests and colleagues throughout all outlets.
  • Accurately record, pre-check, and pick up all food and beverage orders across all outlets.
  • Serves guests their food and beverage promptly and courteously
  • Ensures the smooth running of their assigned work areas at all times
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of food and beverage menus, to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
  • Promotes additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell, in a manner that is professional and courteous
  • Makes clear orders to kitchen production, and bar regarding beverages; registers orders according to hotel procedures
  • Works with the Food and Beverage Manager and F&B team to develop customer relationships creating loyalty and return guests.
  • Put our guests at the forefront of everything that they do maximising customer satisfaction ensuring a professional and friendly service is provided at all times.

THE PERSON

  • We are looking for an individual who wants to take the lead in their future career within Hospitality, who has the qualities to encourage and empower themselves and the hotel team to take ownership and to participate in decisions that affect them and the business.
  • The right person must have attention to detail and an eye for presentation.
  • Be extremely reliable and have excellent time keeping;
  • be a team player who is motivated to go beyond the guest expectations and who is able to take and give direction in order to achieve great success.

Breakfast Server

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Food and Drink Team as a Breakfast Server. You will be part of a proactive department in achieving high standard of customer care and creating the ultimate customer experience within our Breakfast service to our guests.

THE ROLE

  • Be host to our customers at breakfast service ensuring they are welcomed and provided professional, courteous service.
  • Accurately record, pre-check, and pick up all food and beverage within breakfast service.
  • Ensure the Breakfast areas are prepared, stocked and ready for service.
  • Takes responsibility for customer care and satisfaction during breakfast.
  • Serves guests their food and beverage promptly and courteously
  • Ensures the smooth running of their assigned work areas at all times
  • Promotes additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell, in a manner that is professional and courteous
  • Makes clear orders to kitchen production, and bar regarding beverages; registers orders according to hotel procedures
  • Works with the Food and Beverage Manager and F&B team to develop customer relationships creating loyalty and return guests.
  • Put our guests at the forefront of everything that they do maximising customer satisfaction ensuring a professional and friendly service is provided at all times.
  • This is a hands-on role which will require working early starts. Flexibility required from Monday through to Sunday circa 30/40 hours per week.

THE PERSON

  • Must have attention to detail and an eye for presentation.
  • Be extremely reliable
  • Have excellent time keeping as well as being prepared to work early starts.
  • Own means of transportation is required as this is not provided.
