Treat yourself to a Traditional Afternoon Tea between 12pm-4pm in Restaurant One Eighty
It is rumoured that the tradition of Afternoon Tea originated from Anna Russell, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. Complaining of “having that sinking feeling” as the afternoon wore on, she initiated the habit of enjoying a pot of tea in the afternoon accompanied by a light snack. She began to invite her friends to join her in this ritual and the idea caught on with other society hostesses.
